The Challenge:

The wet pour in our Nursery garden had split and was posing a Health and Safety risk to our children.  We had already had it resurfaced so when we asked a wet pour company for a quote they told us that it could not be resurfaced again and that any patch repairs would not last.  They said that we would have to remove both layers and lay fresh wet pour.  The cost of this was outside of our price range so we were stuck on what to do with the garden.

We were looking for alternatives when we came upon the Matta Play website and decided to see if what they offered was a better alternative to removing the wet pour and relaying it.

I spoke to Tom Johnston who was extremely helpful.  He came out to site to see exactly what our problem was as informed us that Matta flooring can be laid over the top of our wet pour which completely removed the need to us to pull it all up and dispose of it.  Tom also went through all the colour combinations we could have along with how it would be secured and all the safety guidelines regarding our small children.

The men who came to install the flooring were extremely helpful and efficient.  They have completely changed the appearance of our outdoor area.  The split and missing wet pour has disappeared to be replaced with a fresh, colourful outside area that the children and staff love. It is safer and easier for the children to ride their bikes around and there are no trip hazards at all.

We are so happy with the final product and the difference it has made to our nursery garden.  We can not thank you enough for the effort, time and planning that you have put into making this happen for us.
